Dual Enrollment Guide
CHEC Academy guides our students entering 8th grade and up through the process of dual enrollment at Palm Beach State College. Students take college classes for both college and high school credit for free. CHEC has designed its high school program to pair with PBSC dual enrollment and have its students complete all high school graduation requirements for college entrance, prove rigorous course load to university admissions, receive college credit for free and students may complete an AA degree if desired by the time they graduate high school. Students also take these courses along with their CHEC peers and have a dual enrollment guidance course at CHEC to help them navigate college courses their first semester. Students must have 4 HS credits to include Algebra 1 and English 1 and pass 1-3 sections of the Accuplacer (grade dependent) to be eligible for dual enroll.
